When i started using Linux, i used to hear the quote “Linux..Just for fun” which is somehow related to Linus Torvalds, but i began to realize the meaning of this quote just yesterday ..i will tell you how

If you are using Ubuntu or any Debian-based Linux Distro, then u have the “apt-get” command which is the high-level package management tool for Debian Systems, now try the following command on the command line:

apt-get moo

and you will see the following output:

Got me ?! , Linux is not just an OS, it is also Fun

Okay, try this one, this time we will try the “moo” argument but with the “aptitude” command, which is the successor of “apt-get”, type the following in your command line:

aptitude moo

and here is the output:

Hey, donot be fooled, there is a trick here, lets use the verbose option

now, more verbose, more and more and more verbose…

so, at last we get an elephant being eaten by a snake, but the journey was a pretty interesting one i think

and by the way, that option “moo” is not documented in the man page
