Google Chrome For Linux Systems

When i first heard of Google Chrome, the amazing browser, i was really amazed specially after reading the story behind it, but what made me mad was that it was supported only under window$ systems and not yet available for other Operating Systems like Linux and Mac OS.
Well, the good news is that we have a port for Linux systems right now  , done by the company that made CrossOver: the famous application for emulating windows apps under Linux..and they called it “Chromium”.
But don’t get too excited, Chromium actually works by using the windows version of chrome but using appropriate emulation of WINE (Windows Emulator) so you will find some problems with fonts, performance..looks like we will have to wait for the native release from google any way :cwy: (still this try is a good one thought)
I will be posting some screen shots of my test isA..
To download the Binaries for Linux:
- CrossOver Chromium for Ubuntu and Debian (32 bit)
- CrossOver Chromium for Ubuntu and Debian (64 bit)
- CrossOver Chromium for Red Hat, Mandriva, and Suse
- CrossOver Chromium for all other Linux distros.
